Description
Woman With A Spoon After Metzinger is an abstract realism-surrealist artwork formerly done by Jean Metzinger to whom I dedicate this work due to the intense learning of this style that I gained from the Master's work.
Acrylic, Hard Pastel and Soft Pastel.
This is not an absolute copy, but as close as I could get at that time but it's brighter, more modern in color and has a shimmer of newness about it.
I really enjoy this style and am doing a fair amount of work like this!

Bravo, Georgiana. I also took a course in cubism and studied this very unusual and brilliant art. You learned so much by making this copy. It's a beauty!! F/L+

Thank you, Nancy. I learnt a great deal in the course and was able to translate the style to more my own afterwards. It's such an interesting genre. Thank you!
